For WCC Students

I am a student of WCC. How do I become a member?

There are two ways:

Register for PEA115

Register for PEA115 through WCC. If you are a WCC student, 18 years of age or older and enrolled with a minimum of 3 credits you are eligible for this half credit class. This course can be taken for credit upto six times for a total of 3 credits. The cost of the course is $160. Students who were registered for at least 3 credits during the previous winter semester may join for the spring/summer semester at the student rate as well. Once registered, students must visit the fitness center to sign their contract and fill out additional paperwork. You will also fill out a questionnaire at time of joining and at the end of the semester, which is required to obtain credit. Once you have filled out your paperwork you will obtain a membership card for entry into the fitness center. Your check-in will affirm your minimum visits at the fitness center to get your credit for this class. Please bring your student ID when you come to the fitness center to join.

Join at the center

If you didn't register for PEA 115 you can still join for a reduced rate of $45/month. Students must be 18 years of age and enrolled in a minimum of 3 credits in the current term. For enrollment in spring/summer a student can apply 3 credits in either spring/summer or the previous winter term (same calendar year) to meet this requirement. The monthly fee is payable through electronic funds transfer (EFT) by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or bank account. Please visit the member service desk at the center to sign contract. Bring student ID, first month's payment and EFT information.

All student memberships require renewal at the end of the semester.

Basketball/Volleyball court and free group exercise classes

Basketballs and volleyballs are provided for your usage at any time. Get a group of friends together for a basketball or volleyball game. We have certain days available for full court basketball for all members.

We also have half court available for games as well. Volleyball is available on Monday evening and Sunday afternoon. For other availability please see our fitness staff.

The fitness center currently offers over 70 drop-in classes. Some of the classes available are aqua classes, spinning, Pilates, yoga, stretch and tone, and Zumba. Classes are held throughout the day, seven days a week. Studios are available for your use while classes aren't in session. Grab a mat and do your own stretching! We provide mats, balls, and small weights for your use while at the fitness center.

Although you can receive .5 credits for being in PEA 115, there is no credit for general fitness classes at THFC.

Will club teams from WCC be able to use the center?

At this time there are no plans on use of the THFC for WCC Club sports teams. Club team members who are also members of THFC could schedule court time like other members.
