April is stress awareness month and we want to share with you three ways to reduce stress in your life courtesy of a recent article from the Harvard Health Blog.
1. Reframe Your Thinking
Taking a new approach to situations in your life may help reduce a number of stressors in your life.
2. Exercise
Cortisol levels which affect stress can be reduced by physical activity. Do not put pressure on yourself, however, to maintain a perfect exercise schedule. Participate in workouts you enjoy to keep you motivated and recharged.
We’re here at the facility to help you achieve your fitness goals, even if you don’t know where to start. Our fitness specialists will provide encouragement, guidance and instruction to help your exercises safely and efficiently. Plus, we have a variety of exercise classes for all fitness levels so that you can discover what works for you.
3. Take Time to Organize
Taking a small period of time each week to create a schedule, to exercise, to plan meals and to organize your work and personal spaces can help reduce stress. Routines help you handle your day to day activities with more ease.
