Scholars have found a strong correlation between brainpower and early-morning exercise:
Sunrise training may stimulate ample blood flow levels to the brain throughout the day. Researchers took 12 overweight and obese men and women, ages 55–80, to evaluate this claim; continuous sitting led to a pattern of decline in brain blood flow for over eight hours.
When these same participants worked out in the morning with or without breaks in sitting, brain blood flow improved several hours after being physically active. Avoiding uninterrupted sitting is quite important along with moderate-intensity exercise to maintain healthy cerebral blood flow.
For more information about early morning workouts, please consult a fitness specialist.
