Check out these simple yet effective strategies that will improve your quality of life:
Purchase High-Quality Shoes
Buy a pair of top-of-the-line sneakers specifically designed for walking. Start by walking around your block, and build up to 30-minute strolls at least three times per week. Increase your distance by 10 percent each week.
Prioritize Balance
Developing or maintaining physical balance is the most effective way to prevent falls. Practice standing on one leg with your eyes closed for at least 30 seconds. Then, switch legs. Practice this exercise often to measure and improve your balance.
Reinvent Breakfast
A homemade smoothie with fresh fruit, unsweetened almond milk and protein powder is an excellent way to start the day. Swap out soda for seltzer water, and limit the amount of added sugar you consume.
Believe You Can Do It!
People gravitate towards an individual with confidence and a positive attitude. Set goals. Then, envision achieving them.
Don’t Forget About Speediness
Adults over 60 years old should challenge their speed and power by adopting an activity like tennis.
