Classes include warm up, vocalization, agility, and cross body movements. Learn boxing sequences, strength training, balance and stretching. Exercise is important for people with Parkinson’s disease because it helps maintain balance, mobility, and the ability to perform daily routines.
Preassessment upon enrolling and a re-assessment after 8 weeks.
8-WEEK SESSION
DAYS: Tuesday and Thursday
TIME: 10:30 am
COST:$50 initiation fee for non-member and a monthly rate of $68. The cost for members is $36 per month, no initiation fee.
Physician referral required. Speed wrap gloves are recommended. Participants may bring their own or may purchase at the center’s logo shop.
