Celebrate Men’s Health Week at The Health & Fitness Center at Washtenaw Community College

From June 10 to June 16, in honor of Men’s Health Week and Father’s Day, we’re hosting a special event to promote health and wellness among men. National Men’s Health Week was first established in 1994 as a way to help educate men on preventative health practices and encourage positive attitudes regarding health and fitness. What better way to celebrate dad and other men in your life than to encourage them to take care of their health? In appreciation for using The Health & Fitness Center as part of your wellness journey, every man who checks into the center June 10 – 16 will be entered into a prize drawing!

About Men’s Health Week

Men’s Health Week is celebrated as “a special awareness period recognized by Congress and the President” and International Men’s Health Week is celebrated around the globe. This week is designed to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems (mental and physical) and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys.

Men’s Health Week is a crucial time to focus on men’s well-being. By participating in our event, you’re not only investing in your own health but also spreading awareness and encouraging others to do the same. Whether you’re a dad, a son, a brother, or a friend, we invite you to join us in promoting a healthy lifestyle for men everywhere.
