EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
Friday, Nov. 11, 2022
12pm: Women’s Health Nutrition for Women – Constance Henderson PhD Integrative Nutrition Educator and Coach.  Registration required.

We women have unique nutritional needs as we walk through the various stages of our lives, from birth through our later years. Age, activity level, genetics/ethnicity, state of health – all of these have both foundational and specific nutritional needs. Our food affects our hormones and moods throughout all these stages.

Join Constance an information session on these topics. We will begin with basic nutritional needs that apply to all of us, and then address special needs for special times.

6:30pm: ZUMBA  – Ladies Night with Rebeca in the large group exercise room. Registration required.

Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022
9 – 11am: Nutrition Station—Constance Henderson, PhD Integrative Nutrition Educator and Coach.
11am – 12:15pm: Yoga for AnxietyLaurie Dean Yoga Instructor

Anxiety and stress are ever present in this fast-paced world we live in. Research studies show Yoga can help to relieve both! The physical practice of Yoga helps to soothe an overactive nervous system, relaxing both body and mind.  As we practice, we focus on our breathing and align it with movement. Meditation helps us develop the skill and ability to begin to watch our thoughts – and helps with self regulation and becoming more aware of what might trigger our sympathetic nervous system responses.

1:00-1:45pm: Women’s Self Care Workshop– Becky Bail, Registered Nurse, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Certified Healing Touch Practitioner. Registration required.
2:00-3:00pm: Chakra Yoga – Becky Bail, Instructor

Chakra Yoga is a gentle practice that includes asana, breath work, meditation that enhances the energy flow throughout the energy centers of the body to maximize health and wellness through

awareness and movement. Registration required.

Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022
10am – 11am: Women’s Empowerment Cycling with Christina. Registration required.
