For centuries throughout the world, therapeutic massage has been used to improve health and well being. Whether adding it after your workout to reduce discomfort and tightness, or to unwind and relax from everyday stress, the benefits of massage are numerous. Therapeutic massage provides medical advantages as well. It improves overall circulation, assists in ease of movement, stimulates the nervous system, promotes tissue repair and eliminates toxins trapped in muscles.
Please welcome Jaclyn Rey to the Massage Department at The Health & Fitness Center. Jaclyn joins Zach Storey, LMT, who has been on staff for 2 years.
Jaclyn is a Fitness Specialist, Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and a Licensed Massage Therapist & graduate of Irene’s Myomassology Institute.
As a practicing Yoga Instructor for over 11 years and an Exercise Physiologist, Jaclyn is passionate about supporting others on their path of health & wellbeing through a holistic, somatic-based and trauma- informed approach. She will continue her education in CranialSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute in 2024 to assist others in healing/managing their chronic symptoms and pain at the level of the nervous system.

A note from Jaclyn: “The body is a consistent process of finding balance and health. My instructors at Irene’s instilled the concept that as the massage therapist, we are ‘just the jumper cables’ for this natural process to occur. To maintain a client-centered approach to care, I embody my values of health and connection to life by incorporating a dedicated daily practice. While these practices contribute to personal well-being, they also allow for me to be in a state of joy to facilitate the natural healing for others within the community. From my heart to yours, I look forward to supporting you.”
As a former firefighter, EMT, and competitive Ballroom dancer Zach brings to massage a love of wellness and an insight into injury. He has an understanding of the toll that the pursuit of self-improvement can take on the body.
Zach studied massage at the Aveda Institute and continues his education through Irene’s Massage School and ABMP. His specialties are focused around rotator cuff movement and hip and sciatic nerve pain.
Zach’s modalities of practice include:
